Where to stay in Las Vegas?
DH and I are thinking about taking a trip there soon and are wondering which of the casino/hotels are the best to stay at? TIA

I haven't gone yet.
But we just booked a trip -- and everyone has told me that the rate we got was AMAZING for this hotel:
The Venetian for only $109 a nite- deal expires May 27

We stayed at the Venetian and The Hotel at Mandalay Bay (not the main part of Mandalay Bay, THE Hotel is a separate hotel). Both were great, THE Hotel is amazing, but tends to be more expensive. The Venetian is all-suites and right in the middle of the strip.

I love Mandalay Bay & they have a cool lazy river & man-made beach with sand but that $109 deal at Venitian sounds pretty good! Venetian is a pretty hotel.

we loved staying at paris...
my parents love the venetian
and when we go again I would like to stay at ceasars....it is really huge but I love their pool!

from what i've read
stay away from Circus Circus & Stratosphere - and most any other hotel that is north of Circus Circus on the strip as the area starts leading to downtown and away from the things on the strip.

Thanks for that! I know to stay away from Circus Circus and Excalibur becuase those are kid-related places. I def. do not want to be by a sketchy area lol

We just got back and we stayed at the Wynn. It was amazing. They're also giving a $75 credit now that can be used on food, drinks, etc. I think you have to stay 3 or more nights.

I've stayed at Caesar's a couple of times and its great. The location is great and its just a fun hotel to walk through.
