Where you are feeling movement *UPDATE

I'm going to the dr. tomorrow so I will ask him but I can't sleep and figured I'd put this out there for you ladies...

I can feel movement but when I do it just seems to be low, like almost under my belly/bikini line. I am thinking that it may just be the position that the baby is in but I thought he/she would have been higher up by now (I'm 20 weeks). TIA.

*UPDATE:
Of course as I am asking the doctor and he is trying to get the heartbeat w/ the doppler she is hitting the wand of the doppler way higher than where I've been feeling her!! The doctor said that it is normal to feel her that low right now. This kid is going to be a handful!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thanks for your responses!!

Re: Where you are feeling movement

Now I am feeling movement higher up and all over my belly, but I am 30 weeks...

When I was 20 weeks, I was the same as you - only the occaisional flutter up high and a lot of movement down low...she was breech at that time, so her kicks were low...

As long as you're feeling something, I wouldn't worry - all of a sudden you'll start feeling movement higher

I feel it all over the place but mostly on my right side pretty much at the belly button line.
