I have the first one, but after them peeing it and filling and refilling it so many times just for one bath, I bathed them in the kitchen sink, it was so much easier and I didn't get water all over the place. When we did use it I did like that you could switch the way they sat when they got older. Mine also came with this net thing to hold them when they were little.

i have several tubs. We used them in the very beginning, but moved to the kitchen sink. It is so much easier.

I used the first one you posted for both my kids.... Very early , I used it propped in the sink and then as they got to be about 3-4 months, I moved it to the bathtub. Once they could sit well on their own, they used an inflatable tub in the big tub.

I think I had the second one and I HATED it with a passion.
I finally started taking DS in the shower with me to wash him, until he was big enough for one those bathtub rings.

I had the 2nd - suited my needs as an infant for baths (mostly used in the big tub not the sink) but never used it beyond that - like as the seat. Once he got too big - I moved to an inflatable tub.

The first one is great! We use it for DD and loved it. The sling makes it so easy to do the sponge baths before the umbilical stump falls off.
