Which Cake would you choose?
For DD's 2nd birthday.
The first one I would have made or the second one I would do myself and put a cute 2 candle on it. We're doing a simple party at the playroom in my building. TIA!

I would combine the two. Make the rainbow on the inside and then the number on the top of the cake.

I would love that but the cake lady I go to doesn't know how to do the rainbow cake... I was going to make it myself but I don't know if I got the skills to do the number  ...that would be perfect though.

In that case...they're both very nice, but if it were me, I'd opt for the one that someone else is making that way I didn't have to worry about it.

Rainbow Cake
Then I'd do the rainbow cake myself and decorate a 2 on the top myself. Can be as simple or intricate as you want to make it. Unless of course you don't have a much time to make a cake, then I'd order it.

If you don't mind making it yourself...the "2" on top would be pretty easy to do! I could help you through it if you want!
Or...can you give your cake lady the instructions for the rainbow cake and see if she'd try it for you?
I think they're both cute....but combined....

Yay Great. I will take you up on that offer I kind of wanted to do her cake myself you know for sentimental reasons but I admitted I'm a little cake decorating challenged. That rainbow cake looks so good....
