Which company for cord blood banking?
If you are banking your baby's cord blood, which company are you using? I heard that there are three major ones. Are there advantages to one over another?

we are using CBR
it was recommended by my doctor and our friends used it as well. The only othe rone i kno of is Viacord

we went with viacord for DD b/c when we had her there was a recall on the storage bags CBR used. i wasn't comfortable with that. so, we will use viacord again so both are in the same place.

Same here, my doctor told us to use Viacord if we were going to do it. That's what he did for his three kids.
FYI if you go to one of their seminars you get $450 off the cost.

We are using Viacord. I found them to be the best. My friend used them and are also very happy with their decision. I will be going to the next seminar.

ViaCord. It's a HUGE company that's not going anywhere any time soon if ever. They're also making great news with Type 1 Diabetes research.
I agree - go to the seminars - great info & discounts are given.
