Which Disney resort would you choose?
Me, DH, my Mom, Dad, DS4, and DD1 all going in May. Both options are the same exact price.
Bay Lake Tower - 1 Bedroom Villa (Lake View) King bed in bedroom with private bath Pull out couch, pull out chair and full bath in hallway. We'd request a crib for DD. Walk to MK and monorail to Epcot. Buses to other parks. Has Chef Mickey next door at Contemporary.
Old Key West - 2 bedroom Villa (near Hospitality House) King bed in 1 bedroom with private bath, 2 queen beds in other bedroom with private bath. Another full bath in the hall. Buses everywhere but you can take boat to Downtown Disney.
Would you pick the transportation convenience or the comfort of 2 bedrooms?

Love the location of the Contemporary but nothing worse than sleeping on a couch bed IMO, especially after a long day of walking....not sure.

I would pick Old Key West so you each have a bedroom.

Going with parents.....2 bedrooms!
It's bad enough sharing a room with the kiddies, after a long day, I don't want to share with my parents/ILs too

No way in hell would I stay in a 1 bedroom with my parents. I would rather stay off site than do that. I'd pick the 2 bedroom.

Definitely Old Key West. We stay in the 1 bedroom at Bay Lake Tower with only 3 people and I can't imagine adding 2 more adults to the mix. It'll be way to crowded.
Do you need the kitchen in the villas? If not did you try just pricing out 2 hotel rooms. You can probably get 2 deluxe rooms for the price of a villa and you'd both have your space.

I agree with everyone else - 2 bedrooms! I've been to both resorts (both studios and one bedrooms) and it's worth it to have the second bedroom.
If you have to stay at BLT, I'd try to get either 2 studios (but you'd lose the full kitchen) or a 1 bedroom for your family and a studio for your parents.

I stayed in BLT-one bedroom. It is a gorgeous space and hotel but I wouldn't want to stay there with my parents and family.
