He doenst eat canned dog food. We give him either ground beef or chicken.

Wellness-the Fish and potato one- she has an allergy and this seems to do the trick to stop the itching.

Iams (green bag)....but it has to be the mini chunks....I bought her the regular sized chunks and she would not eat them...so spoiled!!!

me too!
I tried switching Boogie to this organic brand I found when I was living in Atlanta- It was horrible.... So beneful it is! no wet food- always dry!

The signs of allergies are .. paw biting, red patches on skin, red eyes, runny goopy eyes, butt scooting( but this can also be a blocked anal sac) Itchy ears and chronic ear infections.
Alot of foods cause these allergies.
The key is to get your dog on a good quality food. The better the food the less allergins in it.
This site is the best . It tells you all about the good and bad dog foods.

Thanks--she really doesnt have those other signs-she does lick her paw after she scratches her ears-but the vet told me that was more like seasonal allergy not a food allergy-Thanks so much for ur help!!

We were using Iams Lamb & Rice and switched to the Iams Naturals....they both of them LOVE it.

Hill's Prescription Diet
He's on a special diet because of his bladder stone, but I think he might be allergic to this brand. I have to give the vet a call.

Innova I had switched to a no preservative food, since my original trainer said preservatives could make him hyper. Well she was wrong his still crazy 1.5 years later. Still love the food a little expensive however he on.y gets 2.5 cups a day compared to other foods it would be about 4 cups

Gizmo is now on Hill's Prescription Diet Canine i/d... for gastrointestinal disorders. He is 15 years old and had a problem with throwing up bile all the time. This diet has completely solved that problem.

She was on Castor & Pollux Natural , but she suddenly stopped wanting it and was losing weight....we went to Beneful and she likes it a lot.

Wow everyone uses Wellness huh? I've never heard of that. Is it organic? (I'm surprised because I consider myself a freak lol when it comes to my little man). I feed him IAMS dry (the green bag). I used to mix in Nutro Max but even THAT has been pulled from the shelves just recently from Petco to be tested...
My bostons very spoiled so I HAVE to mix in a teaspoon of some wet food...anyone have any ideas of organic brands I can try??
