Which dress to wear to Owen's Christening?
I bought a bunch of dresses but have it narrowed down to 2 (both from Target, surprisingly!):
Option 1-fits fairly well, but not as well and second dress. I found great shoes to wear with it and I like the color better and this color goes well with the dress DD is wearing and DH's tie-silly, but will make family photos looked more coordinated:
Option 2-fits really well (makes me feel pretty skinny), not excited about the color, have no idea what shoes to wear. Color wouldn't blend well for family pictures BUT I would probably like looking at the pictures since I would look skinnier in them

I wore blue for DDs Christening and was quite comfy.

If you feel better and feel that you look better in number 2, I'd go with that one.
I like it a lot - I think I need to go to Target since I'm on the hunt for a Christening dress too!

I like them both but wear the one that makes you feel better. I'd go with silver shoes if you do the blue dress. I bought #1 in red b/c it was on clearance for $12 or $13. No idea when I'll wear it but couldn't resist for that price!

Thanks ladies, looks like the blue one is winning!
The shoes for the pink one were awesome though and now I'll have no excuse to wear them
So we are sure-the blue one? No one wants to make a case for the pinkish one?

I like the pink one bc of the higher neckline, DS is ALWAYS trying to expose me! But if you feel more comfortable in the blue one that is nice too. As far as shoes, you can wear silver or a patent neutral color shoe, which is apparently the "in" thing.

I WANT the pink one - where did you get it ???
I am not loving the blue one on the model - (although I LOVE the color) but if you feel good in the blue one, and the fit is significantly better, I'd wear the one that fits better on YOUR body rather than the hanger - KWIM?
You can wear a nude, silver or gold shoe with that blue dress ........
what shoes were you planning to wear w/ the pink one?

These are both from target if you can believe it! And, they both seem made really well-I looked everywhere and these are my favs for fit and overall look.
I wanted spice it up with the shoe and I found nine west floral print, black and white heels with a pink trim that matches pretty well. I can't find them online (I found some other crazy shoe that they make that has similar colors but is nothing like the shoe that I bought )
The description says taffeta but it doesn't feel like taffeta:

Love them. I vote for #1 if you are still pretty happy with the fit (I know you really like the fit of #2, so if you are still pretty happy with #1's fit I vote for that)...I agree about loving the color, and if you're happy with the shoes and it coordinating with the family and the fit is still "pretty good" and you'll feel good in it, I say wear it!
