Sayville Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Right now it's mostly flowers and some early veg and strawberries.. but in a few weeks it should be more robust. Last year we had some great vendors and I am counting on them to bring the goods! It's very small but they have local wines, artisan cheeses, fresh coffee and tea (iced and hot), breads and other stuff. Last year Blue Island Shellfish had a stall there.. I hope they come back again now that they have success supplying the local Whole Foods markets!
I've also been to Islip Market which is bigger and was nice.. but this one is closer to me!

Main and Railroad - in the parking lot next to Carvel, Mark Anthony's and Cornucopia.

I am going tomorrow..I go every weekend I love love going there! all the vendors rock and are so nice!
I bought a chocolate nirvana cake and strawberry mango preserves from Amy (Miss Amys) last week, she delivered it to me Friday!
love my cheese girl and the bread chicks!
my babies love going and getting warm bread, a ripe tomato and goat cheese yum!

They haven't started yet, but I am planning to check out the Amityville and Copiague one's when they start in July.
Both are new to the area. Amityville is going to be on Sat and Copiague is going to be on Sunday. I think they are both from 7AM to noon.

I think they are both going to be near the LIRR.
I know the one in Amityville is going to be in 9/11 park on Rt. 110. Someone mentioned in the past it's right near the LIRR.

West Hampton has a great farmer's market. Not sure if that is too far out east for you.

I was wondering about this one because I go to cupsogue but I go in too early and leave after it closes..I have to check this out. How many venfors do you think they have?

I would say between 20-25 vendors.

I was just in port jefferson today and there was a sign that they have a farmers market every sunday. I will check it out next weekend

is that the name? its not faer from the sign I believe, by the circle before you go onto the street that takes you down to the street you turn for the beach, lol am I making sense?
they have a coffee truck they take out sometimes and they sell only coffee and some sanwiches and baked things..
anyhow--now I have to look at the name next time! now the "shack" we at there memorial day and the food was hideous! never ever again.
They already screwed it up the first day?
