Re: which of these would you purchase?

I got #2 and #3

I was told both were needed and good...they are different in what they do.
The glider, glides side to side and back and forth where the bouncer, bounces and offer some activity for you DC.

Re: which of these would you purchase?

I got the bouncer, the last one. Although I like the concept of the first one too.

I have a few friends and inlaws who had the soothing motions glider and they ALL purchased a bouncer as well and said it wa sgreat for the first few weeks, but none were using it by month 2-3 and so it seemed a waste of money for me.

I wish I had gotten #1. I might it for this baby. I like that it can be used by a toddler also. DS was only in the bouncy until about 3.5-4 months old because he was pulling himself forward and I was nervous he would fall out even if he was strapped in.

Both of mine love #1. It also has the vibrating option, like the bouncer, so it's great b/c as they get older it's a nice sturdy chair. Sarah loves to climb in there with a book and "read". Chat Icon

I have #3. DD loves it. She wasn't too into it at first, but now she can play with the animals hanging and she'll hang out in it long enough for me to take a shower.

We registered for #3. My daughter loved her bouncer, and it was that same style.

I agree....

DS has the older model and he loves it. He's almost 2 and sits in it as soon as he gets to ILs place. He absolutely hated the bouncy seat, so I returned it. I plan to get one of these for our house for #2 to use and if he doesn't like it Nate can use it.

Those things scare me and I am not one of those moms that worries! I never let DD in one and I'm sure my MIL [aka-daycare provider] has one from the toddler she watches, I will insist it NOT be used with my child. They just freak me out.Chat Icon

I actually have #1 and #3 on my registry - not sure if I'm going to keep both, though. Some moms on the parenting board raved about #1 and felt as though it did the job of the bouncer (and then had more "life" after the baby is a few months). If getting just one, I'd go with #1 (which is probably what I will do!).

Re: which of these would you purchase?

I have the soothing motions glider. I only used it for the first 1 and 1/2, I would recommend the rocker or the bouncy seat. They are definitely life savers.

Re: which of these would you purchase?

I'd go for #1 all the way! We had bouncy seats, swings and they outgrew both by 5 1/2 months. I just bought the infant-to-toddler rockers and they're great b/c they can grow with them.

I suggest getting #1 and #2!

#1 will grow with the baby

#2 is great because it glides and soothes the baby!

Re: which of these would you purchase?

#1 and #2

We had something similar to #3, and our daughter out grew it at about 9/10 months. She would lay back and it would touch the floor Chat Icon

The toddler rocker is more practical - it lasts longer. My daughter is 17 months and still uses it, now, though, she actually walks over to it herself and plops herself in Chat Icon

#2 would come in handy to help your baby to sleep if he/she has problems sleeping without movement and/or is collicky. We used a swing, and that worked just as well...
