Which peds would you recommend- branch, Smithhaven, or Smithtown Pediatrics?
Hi everyone- this is my first time posting on this forum. I am soon to be a new mom and need to finally pick a predication. I have recommendations for the following three practices and they are all pretty much in the same area and don't know how to choose. They all seem great- I am just looking for some reviews. How are the waits usually??
Thanks for all and any advice!

I use Branch Pediatrics and see Dr. Keith Ancona for well visits.
I highly recommend the practice. They have very flexible hours.
The office is always open to call with questions and they get back to you right away.
DD was not acting herself a week and a half ago and I called at 9am....they fit me in for an appt 2 hours later and we learned she had an ear infection.
The nursing staff is gentle and help you out as first time parents and the doctor's want to hear all your questions and are willing to stay in the room with you until you are finished.
The waiting - no more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. Only once have they run behind once they brought us into the wellness room, but that is atypical.

We use Smithtown Peds. We used to see Dr Martinez who I lOVE! but he is no longer with the practice so now we see Dr Val I LOVE her also. The waits are not bad at all. If you have an appointment and are on time the longest I have waited is 15 mins maybe not even that long. The only thing with this practice is when you need a sick visit it can sometimes be hard to get YOUR Dr. but if we cant see Dr Val I always ask for Dr Parles Sr and I will not see anyone else.

We actually just left Smithtown Pediatrics. More so b/c of the Dr there. It just wasn't a good fit for us. I could try one of the other MDs in the practice that seem to be more well liked, but we were traveling 20 minutes to get there and found someone 2 blocks away that we like.

I will say that from experience and from a good friend who is a nurse that deals with these dr daily in the nursery who also uses smithtown less peds herself there are several dr in the practice that are much better and more knowledgeable than others. I will only see. Bernstien , Val, both Sr and Jr Parles and Martinez who is no longer with the practice .

We go here too. Have been for 4 years with no complaints. Dr valmassoi is our ped as well. I loved her from the first time I met her in the hospital with DS1.
I have seen most of hte other peds as well and while I prefer some over others (more due to bedside manner) I have always felt very confident in 99.9% of their recommendations.
I rarely wait more than 5 minutes for my appt. I have even walked in with no appt and gotten to see MY dr (who is one of hte busiest in the practice) within 20 minutes.
The only issue that is a non-issue for me but some dont like this, is that they do not do alternative vaccine schedules. So if you wnat to delay say the MMR...this is not the practice for you!.

Thank you again for all the replies. I need to decide right away.... I guess if we don't like a practice we can always switch.
