Which stores actually have toddler winter coats and gloves?
I'm not thrilled with the coat that DS has (a gift when he was born [18mos. winter coat  ]). Too puffy and stiff.
I'm not an online shopper. I need to see, touch, try on. Anyone know if stores like Old Navy stock most of what's on their website and which stores in particular? I was thinking of checking out the ON in Bay Shore Garnder Manor Mall today.
Which stores actually have a good selection of coats for toddlers?

I do not even know where an H&M is besides the city!  I don't get out much! I'm not a shopper... at... all!

I was all over yesterday for my DS .. i finally found a great jacket (and matching snow pants) at the
Osh kosh bagosh outlet in the source mall! it was 50% off and i used a 20% off coupon and it came out to only 26 bucks ($13 for he pants)

Until the 10th though, all outerwear is 50% off in store at ON. Better deal than the F&F.

Ooh, where can i find this Gap coupon? I bought DS a Gap coat during their 40% off Columbus Day sale and the coat was too big and later I wasn't able to find it in his size at any Gap
I just can't bring myself to pay full price for a coat I originally purchased for 40% off.
ETA: found it! Friends and Family. Thanks for the heads up.

The above is a really good deal. We found a great fleece (just like a North face type thing) at Target. Also got his real "winter coat" at the outlets, went in looking for the Gap coat didn't like it, actually surprised myself and found one we really liked at Osh Kosh for a pretty good price I think I paid about $16. The outlets in Deer Park have a couple stores all rt next to eachother CP, Gap, ON, Osh Kosh, Gymboree, just to name a few, makes it easy to "shop around."

Yeah, that's where I would head next. I like easy but I sometimes feel like they do not stock as much as the regular store (or just sell out). The Gap and ON in the outlets always seems slim pickin's for boys, to me.

Not sure where you are located , but Marshalls in Rego park ,Queens had a huge selection of coats , hats and gloves for girls and boys, I was there yesterday.

Thanks ladies! I got him one at Old Navy in Bay Shore today!
Frost Free Hooded Jacket...
I went with the solid black 1. to match a pair of black with grey camo snowpants. 2. I see no need for a dressy coat with this one. 3. better potential to match his many hats. and 4. he looks darn cute in it!
The hood comes off but it snaps around his face so cute and cozy he could probably go without a hat sometimes. And it's not really bulky/puffy.
PS... that Old Navy had lots of coats in stock and snow pants too. They said the toddler snow mittens were not in yet and they had just a few pairs of boots so I may order gloves and boots online.
