which stroller to bring to sesame place?

my umbrella stroller (which does recline)

or my big one (graco- from my travel system)

I suggest the umbrella stroller-you'll be doing A LOT of in and out...and you really won't have extended periods in the stroller which make the heavy stroller necessary. I always bring the reclining umbrella stroller, and it's always worked for me. Have fun!

When we went, I brought my side by side and you can hardly carry anything under it, so I would say it depends how much you want to bring in with you. You can also go back out to your car if you want so you don't have to carry everything in with you.

I'd bring the bigger one. Between towels, lotion, drinks etc. you may have a lot of things to lug around. My DS was 3 when we went and I thought he could handle to walk..I was in for a rude awakening! I wished I at least had the wagon to pull him in.
But the 2 days that we were there were terrific. Just plan on being wet all day.

I forgot-they also have these large, plastic double strollers that you can rent. When I went with just my first, I rented one. That way, I had plenty of room for extra stuff, and didn't worry about getting the stroller wet.

I say bring the big one. You will be carrying alot of stuff. But you will be in & out so be prepared to leave your stroller outside unattended. Everyone does it and I have never had any problem.

I think Im gonna bring the umbrella....

Ill have one bag of towels, sunscreen, extra diapers (and swim diapers) which will hang from the stroller

Then Ill get a locker for the change of clothes and extra diapers etc.....

I also have a little cooler bag which my 2 bottles will be in, some water, ryans cups, and jar food....(and this will sit in the little basket underneath)

Am I forgetting anything???

if your umbrella has a basket underneath you should be good. Dont count on getting a locker though. On the weekends I think they fill up quick.

Did you get directions yet? I dont remember but we used the ones on their website.

I'm bringing my double stroller when we go next month. My 3 year old refuses to sit in it, but I know I'll use the space for stuff!

last year when my son was about 6 months old we went to sesame place, I had a graco stroller and also a peg perego, both soooo heavy...i went to babies r us & purchased a babytrend lite weight stroller for about $30 for the trip-it was the BEST investment, I NEVER used my other,more expensive strollers again!!!
