Which time is better for Sesame Place?

We are going to Sesame this weekend on our way to a bridal shower in NY on Saturday afternoon. I already booked our hotel in Langhorne for Friday night.

Which time is better for a 1yo and 3yo?
A. Arrive at 4pm on Friday, do as much as you can, eat dinner there and MAYBE stay for the 9pm parade
B. Get to Sesame at opening on Saturday (10am), play for 2 hours, get fast food and eat in the car so that I can make it to the West Village by 2pm.

DH has to see patients in DC on Friday until about 12 so we can't leave before then. Plus 3yo DS has a picnic that ends at 12:30 that we would prefer not to miss.

I would do A.
My kids would probably sleep in the car so they would be able to stay up late.
I wouldn't feel rushed. You never know who will spill something, get sick on a ride, etc...
Plus, it would be cooler. I hate the heat.

Any thought to the 2 day pass? It think if you get there after a certain time, the next day is either free or reduced.
