How do you handle nap time when you go to places like DW/Sesame Place/Disney?
Last summer, DS napped at DW (in the shady area) and we went to Sesame Place after DS napped on the way there. DS was 16-17m old and 3 hours was pretty much max he could play.
This year, DS is older (2yo).
Do you think we could spend the whole day there with no nap?
Or do you usually go back to the hotel?
There is no way DS would fall asleep at the parks. He'd be too excited. He has been fighting his naps big time lately and often pushes his nap to 3pm.

We haven't done places like Sesame Place etc - partly for that reason. When we went to WDW - the 1st time - DD#1 was 15 months - she took a short morning nap in the stroller and we would just relax and have some water or just take a break. Then we would leave the park after lunch and go back to the hotel - let her nap there and swim (although she frequently napped in the stroller.
On our second trip. DD#1 was almost 3 and DD#2 turned one on the trip. DD#1 would nap in the room during our afternoon break and DD#2 would nap in the room and take shorter naps in the stroller at the parks.

They napped in the stroller as we walked around.

Same. DS napped in the stroller at two years old at all of the Disney parks, Sesame Place, Great Adventure, other amusement parks, etc.

we went back to the hotel each day so he could nap. Then when he got up, we'd go back out. I'd be willing to let him miss a nap once or so, but definitely not every day as it's already overwhelming for them.
ETA: jacen was still taking 3 hour naps at that point. If he was only taking hour naps, i would have let him nap in the stroller. The most he'd nap in his stroller is 45 minutes.

We do a combination of letting them nap in the stroller and going back to the hotel for them to relax and nap.

I'm going to Disney in a month and plan on playing it by ear...if she seems REALLY tired, we'll go back to our hotel, let her nap and then come back in the evening. If she just drifts off in the stroller, we'll take a break there and then continue staying at the park. She'll be 20 months when we go. I feel like at this age, its really hard to tell so we just have to be prepared for all situations LOL

DS has not napped in his stroller since the days of the infant carrier and snap and go. When we plan family trips like the ones you mentioned, we usually end the day a little early and go until DS can't go anymore. He usually passes out in the car on the way home.

At disney, DD would nap in the stroller. Sometimes she'd sleep for an hour, others for about 25 minutes.
We kept her bedtime as close to the same as possible, so she was sleeping well at night.

we napped in the stroller at the park...he was almost 2 at the time...I was selfish..i didnt want to "waste" 3-4+ hrs going back and forth to the hotel..they adjusted..and were too excited to be miserable! although they had their moments..it wasnt out of control...something quickly diverted their attention!

I never revolve our trips around naps. If we are out, we just forgo naps.

Re: How do you handle nap time when you go to places like DW/Sesame Place/Disney?
When we were in Disney (when DS was 22 months) it was 95 degrees (in October) so we used to go back to the hotel every day for "nap time" some days we would all nap some days we would go use the pool.
But we really dont revolve around nap time. DS is fine without a nap if he is busy. This year in DIsney at 3yo he fell asleep in the stroller 1x(he rarely even did this as a baby). The rest of the time he went without naps.
But its up to how your child reacts. Will he be okay if he skips his nap for a few days?
