Which website do you use to book travel?
I usually book directly with the hotel but I have noticed I can get a better rate through some of the websites like Orbitz etc. Any recommendations for sites? I’m always a bit nervous when booking through these sites that the hotel won’t have my reservation when I get there. Can someone let me know a reliable one that they use with no problems?
TIA!

Sometimes I use priceline.com
And I never book anywhere without checking it out on tripadvisor.com first.

Yes I LIVE by tripadvisor. It's a life saver!
I was just worried about actually booking through these sites like expedia etc. I'm always worried the hotel won't have my reservation or something when I get there. I guess I just want to hear if any of you have had consistently good experiences with any of them so I will feel safer!

I've always had good experiences with on-line bookings - sometimes I ask to get upgraded even. Just call the hotel before you go to confirm the reservation - I do this no matter how I booked the room.

Re: Which website do you use to book travel?
We've booked some GREAT trips for fantastic prices through Expedia. Definitely check on tripadvisor before you pick your hotel though!
Also, expedia now has some hotel reviews which are helpful too.

I've gotten great prices using Expedia, Travelocity and Priceline and have never had a problem (other than flight delays and that's not their fault!)

Re: Which website do you use to book travel?
Depends on what Im booking.. an international trip, I would book on the airline and hotel's websites.
A Carribean All-Inclusive trip, through a TA. My TA always gives me the best price, and will match any other price I find online. Her low price guarantee is so great, that if the price goes down at all AFTER I book she'll reduce my package to match it. Can't get that from Orbitz.
Ive never, ever found expedia, travelocity, Orbitz to have the best deals...
