Last year we drove around for 2 hours trying unsuccessfully to find a spot, then left.

I took Taylor on Sunday so we had the added aggravation of the columbus day parade which closed some roads.

I have to say though, I got such a great spot next to the gas station on main street right by the vendors. I figured we were just going to wind up going to the mall to walk around instead b/c I never thought I would get a spot.

I'm going, on Sunday... I live in the area. If you know where to park and don't mind a little walk, it's worth it.

There is parking at the Vernon school, right on Rt. 106 just north of Northern Blvd. There you take a shuttle bus.

You can also park at the Syosset RR station and take a shuttle too.

If you know where St. Dominic's school and church are, park there. That's were we park every year with no problem at all. The closer you get to the festival, the harder it is to find parking and the streets get very narrow and are 1-way.

They have numerous shuttle buses that drop you off. If you don't mind taking the bus it is soooo worth it!!!

I'm going with DH and another couple...never been before but it's supposed to be nice out and no other plans!

i really want to go again this year but since i had surgery yesterday, it's not looking promising maybe tomorrow i'll be well enough

I went with my BFF, we had a great time. Got a pretty decent parking space on a side street.
The funny thing is we didn't eat anything there, everything we wanted the lines was too long.

We went yesterday......we had a great time....it was so nice to walk around on such a nice fall day......we took a ride on one of the pirate ships and they put on a little show...really cute....the food was sooooo good...the only thing we didn't eat were the raw oysters because the line was an hour wait....

i went, it was nice.. a bit disappointing- last year was much better IMO

I went on Sunday and found a spot on the sidestreet right around the corner from it.
The food was SOOO good. I wanted to bring home some soup but by the time I went back, it was gone...

The food was awesome - we ate everything - shrimp, corn, crab cakes, fried oreos, fried clams, zeppoles..........felt gross after though....btw....

WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME THAT FRIED OREOS ARE AMAZING????

The bands were so-so.
