whippet needs a good home UPDATE**

girls, one of my best friends lost her mom last week. Her mom had 3 whippets, one is a puppy, they only got him maybe 4-5 weeks ago

is anyone interested in adopting a whippet or do you know of someone who is? they are sweet

LADIES i have to thank you for the overwhelming response I got regarding these dogs, they were adopted last night, TOGETHER

I know there were 3-4 girls who wanted to set something up for this weekend, sorry, I didnt think someone would adopt so quickly, thanks for your kind hearts!!

My SIL is a vet tech and she gets rescue's in need of homes every week, I will keep you all up to speed if there are any that we can help

OMG - I love Whippets!

If I wasn't 37 weeks pregnant, we would definitely consider taking in the puppy.

I want to say that there was someone on this board looking into Whippets a few weeks ago....

Good luck finding them homes!

ok, so here is the info

The puppy is named Maverick and he is a 12 week old male. He is not yet neutered, too young. His coloring is Brindle and White, he weighs 10 lbs currently

The female is named Shadow, she is 6! She isnt spayed but my friend would be willing to split the cost with whomever could give her a loving home. Her coloring is called Blue Fawn, she is full grown and weighs 23 lbs.

OH MY GOD I WANT ONE but we can't until we close on the house in another month. WHY WHY we wanted a whippet for so long.

I may have a taker. My cousins, who are HUGE dog lovers lost their dog Maggie (she was 16 years old) a few months ago.

I know they are looking into adopting another pup. I am going to forward this information and hopefully we can get something going!!

Yep i wish we can jump on one of them quicker if we could have a dog in our apartment we would but our landlord would kill me. I will keep you in mind but I do think they both will have homes soon enough!
