white chocolate
can I color with food coloring? Stupid question I know but does it change texture or anything?
I don't want to buy the colored ones (blech,lol) so I wanted to buy a good white chocolate

You would need to color it with either powdered or oil-based food coloring.

I believe Michael's sells candy food coloring. It's a gel. If not, you can check out a cake decorating store. I know of one in Queens that has them.
ETA: I usually use Americolor, but make sure you buy the CANDY coloring and not the icing coloring.
I believe Wilton also has a line of candy colorings.

I know you said you don't want colored chocolate, but Grandma's Candy Kitchen in Wantagh sells real chocolate already colored. They're excellent.
