White Floor Lamp
Anyone know where I can get a simple white floor standing lamp for the nursery without spending a fortune? I never thought that it would be such a difficult thing to find.

I went to both yesterday and all they had were black or metalic colors. Maybe I'll check their wesites.

JC Penney had some cute ones a few months ago online, probably still do. I think they had gingham shades or plain shades. Maybe around $80 or so.

Oooh, ok. Well Target has a decent return policy. You can take any online purchase to a Target store to return - you just won't receive a credit for shipping.

We had the same problem finding one too. We finally found a really nice one in Walmart for I think $36. plain white base and plain white shade. I am not a Walmart shopper in general, but when I tell you we looked everywhere and online and still came up empty...Not sure where you are located, but we found it in the Middle Island location.

We got ours at PB outlet. it was onsale so I think we got it for around 50. they have sales pretty frequently.

As the mother of an active 20 month old, I'd think twice about a floor lamp in the nursery. DD would tip that over in two seconds if it were in her room. The amount of babyproofing you have to do is really crazy!

I was just looking at them! They have them in BRU (without shades) and at Walmart. We ended up getting a table top one w/ out shade from Walmart for $8. We have the shade that matches our bedding.
