Who doesn't do my space or face book?
Anyone not bother with these? I feel like I am the only one who doesn't have a myspace page or belong to face book.
Anyone else?

I can't. I'm a high school teacher and would never put any web page up that's searchable by my first and last name! Kids tell me all the time that they "Facebook" me and ask my why I don't have a page. 
I can't say I feel like I'm missing out on anything, though. If I need to chat with someone, I'll call or email them. But then again, I'm 30 years old, and MySpace/Facebok didn't really get going until 7 or 8 years ago so it's not like I grew up with it and am dependent on it. My 26 year old sister couldn't live without those pages.

DH doesn't have accts on those sites either
eta: I heard that a lot of employers check candidates on those sites for "questionable content". just something to think about

I was not at all interested in facebook until my sister got me hooked- it took a while but she did.
I am obsessed. I reconnected some great people from hs and college- colleagues from other schools- and its private so the kids cant see my page unless they request it (I teach)
Maybe its because I am not married with kids and I have time on my hands to browse and chat but A LOT of my married friends with kids are on facebook- its different then myspace...

I have facebook -- I joined when it first came out and was only open to 10 colleges, no special features, no HS, and limited to students. It hit finals week during my first year of college.
I'm still on it, and while I like some of the newer features (tagging pictures, photo albums, wall, news feed) I hate that they keep changing it! The whole "new" facebook is annoying, I decline all of the new "applications" and I feel like it's starting to turn facebook into myspace. I liked it better when it was more simple and students only.
My profile is clean (I was an RA in college and now I'm a law student) but it was really cool to log on the morning after our wedding and see 100+ non-pro wedding pictures up before we left for our honeymoon :)
also a great way to reconnect with old friends. while they are much more similar now, I always viewed myspace as trashier and the blinking designs and music and stuff annoy me. i also like that facebook will email you when you get messages, are tagged in pictures, etc so you dont have to log in and check until theres something new

I was hel! bent on not getting any of these accounts, until my cousin sent me an invitation.
I have 19 cousins on my mom's side (some of which I haven't seen in 20 years) so it has become a really great way to keep in touch with them all!

I have both, but I don't really use My Space. It is annoying.
I have facebook and set it up as private and I do not have it under my real name, but under my nickname, so if you know my nickname then you can request me as a friend. There is no way I would put my full name on there and I am only friends with those that know me.
