Who doesn't have the summer off?
I worked last summer and this summer. While the hours aren't bad, I would love to have summers off at some point. I mean, that IS one of the perks of this profession, right? 
So, who's working with me?

me!!! I have 2 weeks off, and then I teach for 3 weeks. The $$ is awesome, so I really can't complain.

Me! I am teaching summer school starting next week, but this week I am registering the students. It doesn't really bother me....YET!

I don't :( and I wish I was teaching summer school :(
I am still plugging along at the night/weekend job I keep all year.
One day I will have a full time teaching position :(
I just hope one day is soon.

i'm a speech therapist at a school, and the passed few summers i haven't worked... but this year, i'm doing summer speech evaluations for the child study team. its not bad- i set my own hours, and can write up the reports on my own time.... and the money's pretty good!
BUT, we're also moving! so i don't think i picked the right year to work over the summer! LOL

I work in a 12 month program so we go back to school July 9th...luckily I have a new position in the fall and won't be working summers in the future!
