Who else has a kid who is going stir crazy
I am about to crack open a bottle of wine, and I hear that is frowned upon for preggos.
I don't know what to do? The rain is killing us. He is crying and acting out for absolutely no reason at all. He had his speech therapist today and she didn't make things any better either.
Please - can we all do a mommy rain dance and make it go away. Thank god for Gymboree tomorrow otherwise I have a feeling it would get really ugly around here!

DS does this EVERY time it rains. He wants to be outside ALL the time! Sometimes I'm tempted to put on our raincoats and go out just so he'll quiet down for a bit.
I'm in St. Louis but I'm doing my Mommy Rain Rain Go Away raindance for you now, let me know if it works... LOL

Re: Who else has a kid who is going stir crazy
When I dropped Amber off at daycare, it was like pure pandemonium..children screaming/fighting, etc. A bunch of the big kids in her class were ganging up on the little ones by attacking them with Wiggles Dolls. It was amusing at 1st (seeing a Wiggle being used as a means of intimidation) but then the severity of the situation kicked in. These kids are in full blown animal mode because they can't go outside...I'm starting to feel it too...trapped

We do but the thing is DH comes home for lunch to see him - so that's right now - and then he naps at 1:15. He had speech at 11 today so I was only able to run errands quickly in the morning. Thank god I'm dropping him off at my cousins house this afternoon so he can play with the kiddies. THANK YOU DEAR LORD!

As long as it isn't pouring out, we let the kids play out in the rain and mud..... it washes off in the tub.

Can I join you for that wine?
I have the same thing here. She has been teething for over a week and when she gets teeth her nose runs on and off - so I kept her home from gymboree this week b.c I didn't want anyone to think she was sick. So we are REALLY stir crazy here!
