Who else hates writing thank you's?

Normally I am so good about sending thank you cards out the next day - but for some reason I can't get my act in gear after my baby shower.

I am so uncomfortable sitting in a certain position for a long period of time so I can only do about 30 in one shot - whereas I used to do them all at one time.

I have a hundred to write.

I think that would be a great job - to pay someone to write the thank you's!!

I hope I don't sound ungrateful - because I am really am soooooooo - I just can't get the motivation to do it!

I just finished mine last night, a month after my shower! I need to get stamps and hopefully that doesnt take too long.

Im a big thank you writer too, but your right, PG even makes THAT a lot of work

I loved writing them!
I only did like 10 at a time, but I had the week off after my shower, so I was able to relax and get them all done.

And I always like to really customize each thank you - and I feel that with my preggo brain I can barely get a few sentences out - so they have been pretty much generic.

ANd, that's the worst part - I work from home - and am honestly not even really working anymore until this baby is born and I still can't get it done.

I have a few left from the generous gifts I received at work. I honestly don't mind writing them. I appreciate how generous people have been and taking a few minutes to thank them in a note I find easy to do. Also, it feels like an accomplishment on my end when they are done!

I am big on checking things off a list, so I guess that is what motivates me!

Get used to it ladies...the gifts keep coming after you get home from the delivery as well. Almost 8 weeks after Taylor is born and we are still getting gifts in the mail

I found that doing a few a night really helped

I find that the more I have to write the more daunting the task.

What I have done in the past is to get the easy ones done first..you know the more generic ones.."Thank you for sharing the day and for your genorous gift" Then I tackle the more personalized variety...

Makes me go in feeling like that Ive got so much more accomplished

I hear ya....I had over 100 thank you's to write for my shower and I would do 5-10 each night, I even had DH write some out for his side of the family...I just couldnt get into it!!!

I am sooo bad at writing thank you's. Mine are always late I can never seem to find the time to sit down and write them.
