who gets the flu shot for baby??
I didnt with the older 2 girls but the Dr said she REALLY wants Brianna(9mths) to get it at the end of the month and then she has to come back for the booster in 4-6 weeks
I never got it before and I am nervous to.....(i dont know why)

My first DS got the flu shot once in his life (he's 5) and he was never so sick. I don't plan on getting it done for him or the baby any time soon.

I got it for Gianna last year, she was 6 months, doing the same for both this year.
Gianna was just a little sleepy for one day, not really much of a side effect.
Dr wanted us to get flu shots too, but we didn't.

Taylor got a flu shot a week ago. No side effects. She has to go for the second part of it next month.

My ped. says the CDC is recommending it for EVERYONE over 6 months - -- so DD is too young. DH and I will be getting it for the FIRST TIME EVER. My sister, mother and mother's helper will all get it too.
It is supposed to be an extremely bad flu this year. That's why my ped. is so adamant that we all get the shot, since DD isn't protected.

Julia has been getting the flu shot since she was 6 months old, she never had a reaction to it. DH and I get it to and no reactions.....its a dead virus!

Marron got it last year and will again this year. I get it every year too. I had the flu ONE time and swore I would do whatever it took to avoid it if I could. The flu can be very dangerous, and potentially life-threatening in children and the elderly.

We got the first part of the flu shot for DD (9 months) and go back for the second part in a couple of weeks.
FIL's colleague, who was an otherwise healthy 50 year old, died last year from the flu. The flu isn't what it used to be. DH and I are getting the shot for the first time ever this year too.

We will get it next month when DS is 6 months. DH and I are getting it too. As I've said before, my husband is an EMT and Christopher has to be vaccinated b/c DH could really bring everything home.
