Who gives their DC a bath every night?

I don't! And my DS is impossible to put to bed lately. I think maybe a bath would help.Chat Icon

My DD LOVES the bath.....sometimes she gets 2 baths just so she can play in the water. I only wash her once though.

DD gets a bath early in the mornings and also at nights.

She loves bath time.

No, I do baths every other day b/c my son has severely dry skin so daily baths make it worse. Isn't that weird?

Anyway, I do baths in the morning. I like to shower in the am, so I figure they probably feel better getting clean then too.

we used to only bathe 2-3 times a week, but at 10 weeks or so we started a bedtime ritual that includes a bath because he loves bathtime and it seems to relax him. the daily bath comes in handy now also because he is in daycare, and i like to put him to bed clean.

try it, it just might work!

hmm - i thought we weren't supposed to bath them every day - only 3x per week? or is that only when they are very little? Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Who gives their DC a bath every night?

DD gets a bath every night. It's part of our bedtime routine and she loves it. I truly believe it sets the tone for her wind down and gets her ready for bed. Of course there are nights when we have to skip it, but for the most part...every night.

I dont and wish i had time. I could help getting him down at night. The warm bath relaxes them, plus it helps with a night time routine.

In a good week... he gets one every other night! Chat Icon Admittedly he has gone 2-3 days without one! Chat Icon Not so much now, since he more active. But, when he was younger I felt it was okay to skip it! Chat Icon

Re: Who gives their DC a bath every night?

every other night she gets a bath. it was a habit we got into when she was in the hospital. plus her skin tends to get dry, so i think every other day is enough.

i have done the occassional wipes bath too.

We do every other night. When she gets more active on the floor and outside, we will do every but she's still small. We do wash her down with a wet washcloth when putting on her PJs the nights she doesn't get a bath.

same here. we started it at 6 weeks and I really believe it is part of the reason she sleeps through the night.
