who goes to a chiropractor and can you recommend the person?
I wasn't crazy about the last 2 chiropractors that I tried. I've heard that some are more knowledgable about pregnancy. Do you have any recommendations? I'm in western Suffolk, but feel free to put your recommendation in other areas in case other people want the info.

I went to Dr. Sherr at the Wellness Center in Northport (631-262-8505). He is terrific.
I WOULD NOT suggest going to anyone else in his practice. I still believe the chiropractor covering him for my last adjustment I had with Joseph was the cause of labor at 34 weeks.

I would recommend my chiropractor but he is in East Meadow -- although I think he has a Commack office as well...

I am not pregnant yet, currently TTC , but I use Dr. Fred Jones in Merrick. He really knows his stuff. he took my back pain away after being at another chiropractor for a few years. I nicknamed him, Dr. Miracle!

I had a great one but he decided to stop practicing in suffolk and now only works out of his brooklyn office

If it is right in Commack, I would be interested. I figured that I would try Barbara's recommendation. It is close to home but in the opposite directiom from my work. Oh, I just remembered I have to check about insurance. Then again, my coverage for chiropractic is horrible and it barely pays to go to someone in network.

I go to Dr. Matthew Aron in Coram. 736-2323 He's on 112, right near the intersection of 83 (N. Ocean Ave.). Not sure if that's too far for you. He rocks!! He adjusted his wife throughout labor and we are actually talking with him about coming to the hospital to help me.

BUMPING-----I need more recommendations in my area. Dr. Ferris was wonderful but he keeps his cat with him at his Commack office and my allergies flared terribly. I was hoping to find someone closer than Barb's chiro in E. Npt b/c I'm never really in that direction. Looking near work or home, so, Commack, Smithtown, Hauppauge , Ronkonkoma, Holbrook.

I just got a recommendation from my OB yesterday, they said he can work wonders. I may try him because mine is only so-so.
