who goes to North Shore Medical Group-Huntington?
I really don't mean to sound like a cranky pregnant lady but I just don't enjoy Callan. She circumsized my son horribly, which left a bitter taste in my mouth and I had to see her again today and she says this to me:
"You should probably want loose all your baby weight a year after having this child" and that I probably started out heavier this time b/c "I didn't have enough time to loose the weight in between pregnancies" I was to taken back by it that I couldn't even speak but I was P I S S E D when I left b/c I worked really damn hard after DS was born to loose all of the weight and I did and then some. . I have NO IDEA what she was basing this off?? (she's not even my doctor!!!!) and FURTHERMORE I've gained 17lbs so far this pregnancy, I don't think that's bad (yet haha) and I'm just annoyed she was even talking about me LOOSING weight while I'm still pregnant??!!!!!!!!
Is she anyones main doctor??? Is she always like that? It left me in such a funk! I l o v e all the other doctors but ugh, now I won't be happy if she's on call this time around!!!

I go to Huntington Medical Group but I see Dr. Singer.
Can you not see her the rest of this pregnancy and just hope she isn't on call when you go into labor? How does that even work? Say she is on call -- can you request another doctor?

I don't have to see her the rest of this pregnancy but I can't request to not have her for delivery. I just found the whole thing obnoxious.

Callan is my main doctor and I havent had any issues with her. This is my second pregnancy too (my first was delivered in NYC). She's definitely not the chattiest person and some of our conversations are a little awkward but she hasnt made a comment like that before.
It sounds like you have nothing to worry about weight-wise. Try not to let it bother you. I'm sorry you had such a bad appointment!

she is awkward & I remember that from the last time, so I went in prepared to have a weird moment with her lol which is what I was brushing it off with at first but it made my blood boil. . .I couldn't tell if she was non-chalantly trying telling me I'm getting to fat to fast or if she was trying to have a conversation with me about loosing weight (which in general is just weird to be discussing with a pregnant lady) I had told her a few weeks back Sierecki said I wasn't gaining enough weight, she was like "I would've never told you that". . .I was like "ok, thanks!!!!"

I used to go there and saw Dr. Prushik or Dr. Brunner and loved them. I was very sorry to leave the practice.
ETA: I'm referring to the Pediatrics Dept. and I think you are talking about OB.

she was my main doc. i have not had any problems with her but she iand i also have a similar personality very bright but do not have agood filter on how to always use that knowledge. she moves really fast but also talks really really fast. she researches a lot and reads lots when she is at the hospial betwwen births
