I have not gone there... but Dr Kramer from Suffolk OBGYN group just moved over there, and he is wonderful.
ETA oopps... didn't see your other post. I got the same call from that office a couple weeks ago and had to find someone different.

Not that I have all the details of Dr. Kramer jumping ship and going over there - but based on what I perceive to be the unprofessional way he handled it, you couldn't pay me to go see him.

Re: Anybody use Huntington Medical Group for OB/GYN services?
I used someone from there many years ago for quite some time. She was extremely nasty to me at a time when I needed just a little bit of sympathy and guidance from a doctor (needed an operation). I've said it before and I will say it again--as far as I am concerned, a doctor represents their practice and I will not go to a practice in which doctors are nasty. She does not do deliveries anymore, but I feel that there are enough doctors on LI that I was able to find a different practice without sacrificing my care. I could not picture the doctors in my practice speaking to a patient like that.

Do you mean Huntington Med Group or North Shore Med Group in Huntington (Callan, Zitner, Scallon,Schneider)?
Just asking b/c people often confuse the 2 practices.

Oh wow, yuck. This makes the 2nd HH-affiliated practice I want to stay away from for next time (if there is a next time). I'm with North Shore Medical OB/GYN have been pretty unimpressed.

Re: Anybody use Huntington Medical Group for OB/GYN services?
Thanks for the feedback girls. I appreciate hearing all your opinions and experiences, whether positive or negative.
I ended up following Dr. Kramer to HMG.
He was very good to me in the past (and was my favorite & primary OB at Suff OB/GYN) and after speaking with him yesterday (he called me from the hospital), I'm happy with my decision. (He scheduled me for a sono yesterday and I have an appt with him tomorrow.)
I haven't had the opportunity to meet with any of the other OBs yet, but hopefully I'll have the same feelings toward the them as I did the other OBs at Suff OB/GYN.
