me. With DD, I paid no attention to the calendar, my cycles, etc. and it just happened. This time around it's taking much longer.

With DS I was off the pill for 2 months and got preggo our first month of actually trying. This time we're on month 9 and seeing a fertility Dr. I will be having an IUI this month.

it has happened to me, although my 1st pregnancy ended up in a loss.

but i got PG the very first month in trying, now i am still trying with IF treatments

With both of my children, it was a one time things and a total shocker. werent even trying.

Now that we are - we just had our 1st month of TTC and AF is due today and I can definitely feel it coming.

I think it will take us longer because thats the way my luck works

Me. With DS I was married 1 mos and 1 mos off birth control. We decided we'd just see what happened and bam! The first month....preggo! This time 10 mos of TTC with 2 early losses.

I am most definately not TTC right now but...

Our daughter was conceived on the pill & was a total surprise. When we started trying it took 7 months (with a m/c in month 2) to finally conceive DS. That's just my luck.

I got pregnant on the 2nd month with dd...with this baby, It took us 5-6 months and the help of clomid (for a short LP) to get pregnant

My 1st was a first try and my 2nd was 1 month. The 3rd took 3 months. I found out after my second was born that I was no longer ovulating. I found out before we really started trying.

I got preggo on my honeymoon, we decided to take the whatever happens approach, I found out I was preggo like 3 weeks later. In June we will have been trying for a year

I got pregnant on the first try last year, but the pregnancy ended in mc. Took us 8 months to get pregnant again.

this time we have been TTC since Sept.

I think we are throwing in the towel. What will be will be. Just going to keep having lots of sex and hoping for a great surprise.

If in a few years, the surprise never happens, maybe we were meant to adopt.

Its sad....I come from a big family, I always saw myself with 3 or 4 kids. But me "trying" isn't creating a healthy mindset at all in my life.

I am fat, sad at times, living in a moment of when it happens, if it happens....

My dd was conceived by the immaculate conception...seriously, it was ridiculous how quick. This time... we've been trying for 9 months... in that time I have had 2 early miscarriages.

With DD, I got pg the first month of trying.

With DS, it took about 1 year. We were seeing an RE who said that the chances of me getting pg on my own or with an IUI, were slim to none. He suggested IVF . Our insurance would cover nothing!

We decided to begin the adoption process in Colombia. The night that my MIL was going to call her sister who is a judge to help us get things moving, I got a bfp!!!!!!

My little miracle in now 8 months old!

With DS #1 it was first try...

The second time around I got pregnant on the 4th cycle...

It's just one of those things that you never know about. I have friends who have covered the whole realm-some were pg right away with their first and are now on months of trying, some tried a while for their first and got pg right away with #2 (it took my cousin 2 years to conceive her first boy and then her second son was conceived first try!).

You just never ever know!

Got pg 1st month but ended in m/c. Two months later got pg with my baby, and now have been trying for ONE YEAR!!! Had another early m/c in December... we shall see what will happen now!

Me. First time around I got pregnant first month trying, miscarried and got pregnant literally one week after the miscarriage.

This time around it took 2 years, 6 inseminations and one round of IVF to get pregnant. It was shocking!

I got PG with DS the first month of trying. I had 2 early m/c within the past year. I did see an RE and found out I have 2 blood clotting issues: MTHFR and heterozygous for prothrombin (forgot the exact title), which essentially says I am 3 times more likely to have blood clots, and that my body does not produce enough folic acid. I take baby asprin and prescription strength Folgard, along with prenatal vitamins. When I do get PG, I will supposedly have to take shots of Luvenox everyday.

DS wasn't even intentional and I paid no attention to anything now I am 10 months into trying for #2 and nothing...I'm so frustrated and starting to feel like it will never happen. We started seeing a RE last month so hopefully that will help!
