It keeps me entertained actually.
thinking of all the (better, more interesting) uses for the finger stamina has left me feeling refreshed myself 
I am tired, cranky and am suffering from wicked cramps that make me want to do terrible things to people. this has lightened my mood significantly.

that's a good question.
I've been wondering about that a lot lately...if someone is going to "back" you and you don't want the association, can you respectfully decline?
all you'd be doing is making an enemy...so it's interesting.
I generally don't let who's backing who swing my vote too hard in either direction (unless its a "right to life" group or the NRA)

I was wondering the etiquette regarding this too. I mean, do they first contact the campaign managers to let them know they want to back them? What if Charles Manson, for example, wanted to back someone? I cannot imagine the candidate would be happy...

Ted Kennedy is a big piece of lard. Whatever he says has no impact on my life. However, my heart glowed when you said it is Bush's last (and FINAL) State of the Union address. Today is a GOOD day.
