we actually may do this on Friday. Woodbury commons opens at midnight...we thought we'd stop by on the drive up to the house.
I am a little askarred...I've NEVER shopped on Black Friday..ever.
but woodbury is making it to easy

i have done black friday before at the crossings outlets in PA. its crowded but not insane or frustrating.
this will be my first year doing midnight madness!! can wait!! you cm....

I am and cant wait!!!
This year I am getting there early like 10ish. Last year it took us 2 hrs to go 2 exits on the LIE. Then we got to the outlets and half the entrances were closed. The parking lots were a mad house, it looked like times square at Tanger!! But by 3ish it was much quieter.

I went last year at midnight and the tanger outlets were insane--people were standing by their cars withs signs that said "$10 for this parking spot"
we drove around forever to find a spot
but I have to say it was fun!

Uh. DH has to be at work at 10:30pm in Riverhead. Does that mean he will have to leave at 8:30?

me tooo it took 2 hours from the last 2 exists and then like a half to get parking and then the lines were ridculous ... they were so bad there was lines for some stores just to get into them!

I went 2 years ago and it was
H O R R I B L E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never ever again! (we went to Riverhead Tangers)
There was bumper to bumper traffic for at least 3 miles leading up to the outlets. We were lucky to find a parking spot. There were lines to get into many stores, and then once you got in, there were lines wrapping around the perimeter of the store for the cash register. I bought 1 thing.
We aimed to get there at midnight, after sitting in traffic, we got there around 1 or 1:30. We stayed maybe and hour. Totally not worth it IMO
The sales were not that great
ed: DH is Suffolk PD. He wasnt working last year but he heard the police were called to Tangers because the crowd took the outside doors off the Timberland store.
