Who makes the best cupcakes on Long Island?
I've been to Crumbs, and it's very good, but IMO not the best I've ever had.
So in YOUR opinion, where are the best cupcakes on LI??

Sorry for the Golden Girls reference. I Usually prefer homemade cupcakes. I don't find Crumbs to be tasty at all.

I'm with you - Crumbs did nothing for me! I actually don't care for store cupcakes. Homemade ones are much more moist and delicious!

I love Crumbs the most. But I havn't tried many other places. And I stick to simple flavors.

The only "bakery" ones i've tried were from some really fancy bakery- might be more than you're looking to spend, but i think the bakery's name was Hostess. (or something like that). The cupcake was mediocre at best, but the cream filling definitely compensates for it 
ETA: I found their website!

love crumbs, love love Dortoni cakes so I am sure their cupcakes rock. My sister said there is a place in Huntington village that is the best, I am waiting for her to call me back with the name. :)

I don't love Crumbs and don't see waht all the fuss is about. IMO they are too sweet...don't get me wrong,I'll eat them but I would like to find the best cupcakes too
