Who "secretly" still wears maternity clothes way after baby
I have been looking for a good pair of jeans for a month now. I have tried everything from the cheap ones to the expensive ones and just dont feel comfortable in any of them. My body is shaped much differently than before I had DS. I swear the most comfortable jeans I ever wore were my maternity ones...they had the great elastic waist that didnt dig into your stomach. I feel like going to gap and buying a pair of maternity jeans b/c i am so sick of looking for jeans that look nice and are comfortable and not being able to find them

I'm 11 weeks pp, and I still wear my maternity jeans. If I really wanted to wear tight, uncomfortable jeans, I could wear my old ones pre pregnancy, but I don't. You're right, they are super comfortable. My only problem is that when I bend down for something, you can see the elastic band  But, at this point, I'm all about comfort!

I've been wearing my maternity shorts around, nearly everywhere.  I've lost 70 pounds since delivery, but the excess belly flab and skin is nuts. If you saw my belly during pregnancy, you would understand why my waist is horrible. I was always asked how many babies I was carrying. I had 1.

Oh I do! 
DS is 9 months and I fit in my old clothes but STILL wear my early maternity jeans and one pair of work pants because there's that comfy elastic waistband. I am never comfy in jeans so it's no surprise...

I still wear my maternity pants at 3.5 months PP. I lost the weight but still have my little belly pooch and HATE being uncomfortable. Especially since I had the c-section.

I did for a long time! I'm 6 months pp now and every once in a while I wear a maternity t-shirt or tank top around the house...but I was in those elastic pants for at least 3 months after the baby!

I was doing this until I decided to go to GOODWILL and buy myself some "transition" jeans. The one in Centereach gets tons and tons of new jeans from OLD NAVY, GAP, BANANA REPUBLIC, ABERCROMBIE, etc....so for under $6 I didnt mind buying a couple of pairs of jeans that were going to be worn for a short period of time. I managed to snag a pair of BRAND NEW LUCKY jeans for $3...

I was and then realized that I was continuing to gain weight b/c the clothes continued to be comfortable. So I made a conscious decision to pack them away and stuff myself into regular clothes as a constant reminder/motivator to eat better.

I have a pair of maternity dress slacks that I still wear- and I'm 4 months PP. They are SO comfy and fit me nicely.

I am not wearing maternity jeans
but I totally understand the search for jeans
my body is such a different shape then before plus I am only 5ft2 so everything I try on in the size I am now is super LONG and the petites are way to SHORT
I just bought a pair of jeans from Target(yes Target) for $22.99 and they fit perfect .

wanted to add that if I wasnt scared someone might "catch" me in maternity clothes that is all I would wear but its been 9 1/2mths since I had dd that would just be wrong

I'm the opposite, I can't even stand the site of my maternity clothes. I want to throw them away but I know I will need them when we have our second. Althought I am lucky enough to have been back in my pre-preggo clothes about 6 weeks after.
BTW- just curious, where did you get your Mternity clothes from-I always found my to be so uncomfy???

I fell exactly the same way!! I hate all of them except for 2 items. A really nice pair of jeans and black work pants. Both of them have the elastic waist not the huge belly band. I can wear all my pre-preggo clothes but I still wear these maternity clothes beause they are sooo comfy. A little big but who cares! I am actually wearing the black pants today

OMG!! This sounds like me on both accounts
I am 16 months PP and I occasionally still wear them - just the capri pants that I have.
SOOOOOOOO COMFY!!!
And I have put them away - 3 times in those months and they were back out again over the summer

I gave all of mine away. Many of my tops were HUGE though... they had to be.
I secretly wished I kept one top I bought early on... I just really liked it and probably could have gotten away with wearing it now. I'm really picky about clothes and it's rare I find something I love that's also comfy.

After 2 years I still wear 2 shirts around the house that are so comfy, and they were one's that were supposed to fit around the belly, not be loose, so they only stick out a bit now. The fabric is so soft though that I love wearing these, they even have a few stains on it, which is good since it keeps be wearing them out of the house.
