Who used to go to Malibu Dance Club in the 80's and 90's??

That is depressing. The whole thread is interesting, about various old school Long Island clubs. The pictures of the bathroom and of the old newspaper at Malibu had to be the saddest.

Wow...that is depressing. Used to be at that place every weekend...
I'm so surprised it hasn't been turned into anything else...I remember hearing it was going to be a catering hall but I guess that never happened.

I was also there every saturday night and every new years. We hung out mostly in the disco room. One of my friends was there every night they were opened. It was like his second home. I cant believe that no one ever bought the land, and also how trashed the place is inside....Sad.
Check out the rest od that forum. There are a lot of cool abandoned places on there.

That was so sad to see!
My DH is from Island park so I would have to pass it al the time and look left and think, memories.
That place is huge and such a prime location...its ashame they didnt do ANYTHING with it!

What a shame. My sisters wedding ceremony was in the round room too...looking at that picture I keep seeing the ceremony. So sad.
