Who uses coco butter

I heard they are good for stretch marks? Is this true? Does everyone get stretch marks? I just bought some and put it on for the first time today.

I have been using Palmers Stretch mark formula. I don't hame them, but I figured it can't hurt to try & prevent them.

I have been using it since almost the beginning of pregnancy but I cannot really tell you if it works or not cause my belly is not that big yet... we shall see...

That's what I bought - Palmers. I don't have stretch marks either yet but thought this would hopefully prevent them.

I didn't get any stretch marks. I don't know if it was the cocoa butter that helped, but it definitely made my skin feel better when it was stretched so tight.

I didn't use anything and didn't get stretch marks, only tiny ones near my belly button where it used to be pierced

Stretch marks are genetic, the creams will help stop the itchies from your skin stretching and leave it silky, but it won't stop those marks if they are in your genes.

I have heard that stretch marks are heriditrary. If you are gonna get them, you are gonna get them. At 29 1/2 weeks, I have none. I do use lotion just to keep my skin smooth though

There is really nothing you can do to avoid them, but cocoa butter helps with the itching as your skin stretches.

I use the palmers cocoa butter, I don't have stretch marks but I do get super itchy and this helps A TON!

I didn't get stretch marks with my first child *knock on wood* and I didn't use coco butter. I just used and am using Lubriderm lotion just to get rid of the itchiness.

Do you remember around what week the itchiness starts? Something to look forward to I guess.

I didnt get one stretch mark..I used Palmers lotion.

I use it once in a while.. when I remember.

I heard olive oil was good.

My friend used it throughout her entire pregnancy, and doesnt have a mark.

Sorry to jump in, but I know a lot about skincare and am generally paranoid about my own! ha ha!

Nothing can prevent them totally and they are usually genetic, but certain things can help make it better if you're going to....Mederma is safe to use while pregnant. People swear by it. Also grapeseed oil is very good for stretch marks. If you get them, you can help get rid of them when they are new and red by applying retinol or Retin A, which you CANNOT use while pregnant. Hope it helps! If you have old white ones, not much can be done about it....but you can apply Retinol or Glycolic Acid to help even make those seem lighter.

I use Palmers cocca butter lotion anyway before I was even pregnant. I love it it keeps my skin soft and fades dark marks and blemishes

I use it every day and so far no stretch marks. It's also great for the itching from your skin stretching!

I never got one stretch mark, and I just used Aveeno daily moisturizer, everyday on my belly.

I use it every morning...even though i HATE the smell of it.
The other day - I noticed a few angry red marks starting to form

i use it everyday 2x a day - not sure if it really does anything but it cant hurt to try - so far so good, lets see how the last 3 months go though!
