Who wants to start meeting at Smithaven Mall or immediate area?

I'm taking the initiative for this area of Suffolk County. Sophie did a great job rallying everyone , but it's just a big job to take on all areas of Long Island and coordinate. Will this work? I have no idea. Will some of you tell me to go jump off a bridge? Sure! I'm up for suggestions on what to do and what not to do!

I am determined to meet new moms and children. I moved to Long Island a few years ago and want to meet people. My baby is 3 months old, but I want to meet moms with children of any age. Who's up for this? Maybe we can get a date together in December, but I understand that everybody is going in 10,000 different directions.

If you're interested in meeting at Smithaven, please let me know what days and times you're available and then democracy will take over on when to meet. Does this mean that there will only be 1 day/time? Heck no!!

I will start:
I am typically available Monday and Fridays during the afternoon. Tues, Wed and Thurs are subject to my work schedule, so that means my availability changes every week. Sunday is possible later in the day.

I'd love to meet mommys from here- have met a few- but no one in Suffolk yet . I know my friend would come too. I'm good for Fridays, maybe we should choose somewhere less busy than the mall though if we do December. Maybe somewhere the kids could play?

Any Day, Any time. Just need a few days notice, so, I can schedule my work appointments around it.

I justed moved to the area and would love to meet other moms. My daughter is almost two, so she's a little older than the others, but like I said, I am looking to meet some moms.

B&N is opening at the Smithaven Mall soon- that would be a good place to meet. Or the library( I go to Connetquot, but I'm sure the other libraries have the same set up ( place for kids to play, moms to sit, etc))

I'm in! DD is almost 4 months old. I don't go back to work until Feb so I can do pretty much any day but would prefer during the week since DH loves to spend his days off with DD

We are in Ronk and DD is a little over 2, since I am a SAHM for now I am pretty flexible

ooh dd and i are in too! im a sahm with my 7 1/2 mth dd so pretty much any day is good for us (we are in holbrook)

I can do it. I'm free most days M-F from 3PM on. I'd love to meet more mom's!

I am in. I do not know exactly what my schedule will be but I will have quite a bit of flexibility.

the middle of the week is best for me.. Mondays can be difficult if I take my DD out on the weekend and she needs rest then..

Tues Weds thurs are good 1pm would be the best time.

I would be interested, but my schedule is sort of tricky. I am off on Fridays, and work longer hours M-Thurs. Weekends are usually crammed. Guess I'd just see when you're all getting together and figure out if I can make it. It's a great idea though

I'd be interested. Unfortunately M-F are a bit difficult since I work, but I work from home on Thursdays so depending on how my day goes I could possibly do Thursday afternoons. Let me know...

I would love to be in! I work f/t as a teacher during the week, so weekdays are out...but my dh works on saturdays so I can meet up anytime before 5 - or on Sundays too!
