Who will play good cop/bad cop between you and your SO?
I'd like to think i'll play bad cop but i might end up being a softee.
i think dh will do a good job of playing bad cop.

same here... DH is a softy. He's so laid back and I notice I'm more strict with the dog. So I have a feeling I'm going to be more strict. He let's the dog do anything and I try and train him

that's so cute!!!!
I just know from our experiences with his nephews...he tends to forget - you do something silly, they will MIMIC you... I've had to remind him of that MANY MANY times.... 
Just because you think it's funny to chew a few bites with your mouth open and make the clicking sound means that they'll do it for the REST OF DINNER because Uncle Dave did....

We are both the same. Neither will be good nor bad. My sister is a single mom and we take care of my nephew A LOT together and it has been a abeautiful thing to see how well we work together and that our views are the same in parenting. Our goal is to work together on discipline and when they get older they will know that if mom says something going to dad WILL NOT CHANGE IT and vice versa. Our goal is to back each others decisions and if someone does something that we don't agree with , say a punishment, we would never take back the punishment but discuss it in private for the future.

I think we're going to be strict on different things...I'm more passive and laid back and DH is very much more of a nervous nelly, so I think he'll be more cautiuos of things that I won't be....on the other hand when it comes to girly things, I think I'll be more of the good cop and DH will be more of the strict crazy dad...
