Thats the point though - no one is buying those for the look - just for the price (and the brand, obviously), IMO. If they were 15 bucks, no one would look twice at them....

I actually know a few moms who do spend that much on their kids!  Luckily, my kids love Target and are more than happy to find a pair of shoes there.

I really think people who buy those are buying them because they like them not because others know how much they cost.
Oillily-probably spelt wrong is verrrrrrry expensive and soooooooo cute.
I have been guilty of indulging my dd when she was little.
I knew where to get them though-sample sales etc...
the kid wore expensive things for cheap.
Anyhow..it doesn't get any better when they are older.
Certain sports require better sneakers=$100 plus.
alot of people spend their money on things.
If I had goo goo dollars-I would on my kids...TO A EXTENT.
but again..I know my way around paying that price.
