is pregnant
They are brining the accused in for DNA tests but apparently it is though she became pregnant within 2 weeks of the rape.
Wow....just wow...

I heard this on the radio this am.they also said none of the dna they took from the guys matched any that was found on her undies or her after the rape

And it also said that it was sperm from more than one person in her underwear.

this is weird- either she had a baby or she didn't?

It infuriates me as well. I think that the DA and the "victim" should both go to jail for what they have done to those three boys lives.

I got pregnant in very beginning of March and was due in November 25th. If she conceived on the 13th, and the baby was late (I heard she gave birth already) it is possible, but not if she is due in Feb.

Did you watch the 60 minutes special on this? It was extremely informative and basically outlined how the DA has NO case at all. It makes you feel so sorry for the boys. At least the one from Garden City is making the most of it - volunteering and taking classes at Hofstra - however his life will always be marked by this incident.
And Duke should be ashamed of themselves too. They should have done a little more investigating prior to expelling these kids from school.
What's really sad also is what this young woman could put the credibility of future rape victims in question.
The whole case is just such a shame.

Fox Five had said that she gave birth yesterday on the news this morning. But Newsday did not really say when she was due. When I read Fox's website it said that family members had stated that the child was born already, but they heard that the child was due in Febuary.

I didn't watch that story- but I followed the case the first 4 months after it happened
mostly on MSNBC at the gym- the guy who went to Duke - I can't think of his name now
it's such a shame- I can not wait for the days these boys are found not guilty- but I think the damage to them is done

I haven't been following this case, though I did see the 60 Minutes special. That segment convinced me that this case is a witch hunt!! I can't believe the DA is pursuing it...it is completely politically motivated.

yep and that's pretty standard these days- she is looking for a pay day and has since day 1
this isn't the first time she has done this

Nifong, the DA -- who I think is so shady, said the pregnancy is not a result of that night, thinking she got pregnant about 2 weeks after. This is according to him, so who knows.
But everyone is agreeing to paternity tests. The hospital released a statement (w/ her permission) saying she is there but has not given birth
