Whoever invented the remote starter is a GENIUS!
I knew it was going to be 35 this morning so I left my seat heaters and heat on last night.
so I got in my car this AM and it was so nice & toasty.
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the remote starter in my cars!!! I used to freeze every winter in my car waiting for it to warm up and thankfully I no longer have to do that!

I want one so badly! I hate that I have to add extra time to my commute in the morning to wait for the frost on my windows to melt.
How much does it cost?

My DH loves his too. I wish I could get it in my car but I have a cut off switch as my car theft deterant and they don't work together. I think my DH's cost around $300 a few years ago.

I got it for DH a couple of years ago and he loves it. It is awesome. If I use his car I use it all the time and when I get in I am not freezing.

Reallllllllly stupid question - so can you set it on a timer or do you just press a button a few minutes before you head outside to your car?
Also, do you know what the range is on most of the remote starters? We live in queens so it's street parking for us and it's hardly ever right in front of our building.

I just click it about 10 min before I go in the car.
I dont know the range exactly but my apt is on the second floor and my car is out front. We dont have a front window so I point the clicker towards the front and it works.
It does not work however in my office building. 3rd floor and im parked under my building. It does work from my window if i'm parked out in the lot
