Whole Wheat bread...stupid question...

I'm trying to switch over to all whole grain b/c my son's having trouble going to the bathroom. Someone suggested to try whole grain instead of plain bread, etc.

My question is, is wheat okay for babies? Actually, he's 15 months. Just wondering allergy-wise if you're not supposed to give wheat products. THanks!

I think it's ok at that age...

DH will only eat white...so I buy the Sara Lee Whole Grain White bread

also try Wheat thins and many cereals and cookies/crackers are being made with Whole Grains as well.

On a lazy night, I use the Lipton/Knorr rice or pasta sides and some of them are now being made with whole grains too

i never gave my girls anything but wheat bread..and it's fine.

DD is 13.5 mths and eats wheat bread, no problems. she also loves wheat thins crackers...

All we have here is wheat bread and its fine! I lovev the Arnold's Light Wheat Bread.

Ds is 9 months and has whole wheat bread. I give it to him with either grape jelly or veggie cream cheese. He's had white bread when we're out (like a grilled cheese) but he doesn't seem to notice a difference one way or another.
