Whole Wheat Pasta
I'd like to start using whole wheat pasta but honestly haven't tried it since a few years ago, and back then I was not impressed with it at all. I didn't like the texture or taste.
I know ww pasta has come a long way but I'm wondering if some brands are better --- and if anyone has any quick, easy recipes that they make with it.
I'm thinking I can make a saute with garlic, onions, brocolli rabe, some white beans and some chicken broth and toss that with the ww pasta ---- since I've seen recipes that looked like that before -- but I'm looking for some other ideas.

Re: Whole Wheat Pasta
I usually make it with homemade sauce and Turkey meatballs or meatsauce. I try to use the thinnest pasta I can find so the taste doesn't overwhelm the sauce and it's not too hard.

Re: Whole Wheat Pasta
we love it, infact I made wheat lasagna with turkey last night (hogson mill) and we buy barilla plus often too.
I think it's all in the sauce though and how you cook it.

Re: Whole Wheat Pasta
I buy Barilla Plus and I found that you just need to let it boil a little longer that regular pasta. I like wheat pasta tomato based sauces.... I'm not really a fan with creamy sauces like alfredo.
