I never noticed this! I'll have to smell Bama's when I get home 
He gets eye boogers though and they smell like dirty socks!

OMG - I can't tell you how the smell of Casey's paws make me gag! 
It never really bothered me until I became pregnant. We both lay on the floor together and she will play around, and when her foot goes anywhere near my nose -

The funny thing is she stops at the door every time she comes inside for me to "wipe paws" I really thought there was some physiological doggie thing that made them smell, no joke.

I never even noticed. When we return from our walks he knows to get his paws wiped and he is not allowed inside until his paws are cleaned.

I think the smell is from the urine...

Paws have a lot of sweat glands.....and dogs sweat a LOT in their sleep!
