Why do horrible things happen right before the holidays?

Stacey1403 Where it all began.... Member since 5/05 24065 total posts Name:	Why do horrible things happen right before the holidays? One of my very good friends just called me to let me know her father passed away yesterday suddenly. I am so sad for her. she is getting married next December and she is just so very sad.
