WHY do I send DH to the grocery store? UPDATE
I sent him to Pathmark and gave him a list of FIVE things that were on sale. FIVE. And coupons. I made him WAIT while I cut out the coupons this morning. He comes back with 2 out of the 5 the wrong size, so they weren't on sale, and when I checked the receipt, he didn't use the coupons. He also bought stuff he just "felt like" buying, but that are on sale at Stop & Shop for less (I'll be going there later). 
Update: I think I may have to eat my words. I just went and forgot my list. I managed to go from memory, got on line and as she was ringing me up, realized I forgot my purse. Ran home to get it, came back, paid for everything, and realized I forgot to use the damn coupons!  0 for 2 today. Maybe next week will work out better.

I tried that once. I emailed a list of the exact items I wanted with the sales price so he would get the right thing. Nope. With his blackberry in hand he missed the mark on half the list of 10 items.

I can't send DH food shopping either. Somehow we can manage to work off the same list and his bill would be double mine

I do not allow DH to go food shopping for just this purpose...
He's OK with picking up milk or bread..but when I get into specifics such as coupons and sales he screws it up every time....
He does not go food shopping.

My DH is the worst!!! I can give him the most specific list and yet I still get 20 phone calls while he is at the store!!!!
Some things are easier better doing yourself!!

Then I must have married his cousin, Prince Coupon. He loves teh sunday paper for the coupons. I can't be bothered, but ti does save us money.

I can totally relate! I never ask my DH to grocery shop ... or shop for anything ... because he always gets it completely wrong!
