Why do strangers say dumb things?
DH and I took DD to Brooklyn today to see DH's grandma. We went out for brunch at the Kings Plaza Diner. Anyway...everyone was saying how cute DD is, yada yada. She was getting restless, so I took her around walking, with her walking and me hunched over holding her hands...she loves to walk. Most people we passed gushed over her, asked how old she was and said she was cute. One lady asks how old she wa...I said 10.5 months...she says "aren't you pushing her a little with the walking". I said...she's the one who likes to walk. What is wrong with people

Because people are RUDE and NOSEY and ANNOYING.....
Ahhhh, that felt better. I got the opposite. "He 12 months old and not walking, should he be walking already?"
If he should be then he would be....You can't please all of the people all of the time.

Outsiders always think they know better for some reason!  As if they know anything more than what they see in those 20 seconds!
