More dumb things people say
I'm sure we all have a story to share...
I took Scout (<------) to the Vet today. The receptionsist asks when I am due (May 31). "Oh my daughter is due July1". Me - "oh nice, how is she doing?" Her- "Well she's been sick up to a few weeks ago, yadda yadaa...you?"
Me - "I've been so fortunate, I've had a great pregnancy." I do not mention my m/c and all the infertility treatments and $$ it took me to get here!
She replies with -- "Oh, well that doesn't mean the NEXT one will be easy you know!!"
I was in shock - I said, "Um, yeah well THANKS for that!!"
WTHeck was THAT about???

Can I add to the list of dumb things people say? I had just exited the bathroom, from vomiting violently. I was embarrassed beyond belief and still feeling sick. My friend (who has never had a baby) then says,"it only gets worse." Gee, I need that when I feel like this???? For most people it does not get worse. I was already past the first trimester and she knew that.

People are so dumb!
I was at a christening and the baby was REALLY well behaved, so we were all commenting on it, and some woman at the table looked at my husband and me and said "your baby is never going to be as good as that one." 
I barely even know the lady too!

I hated it when I was pregnant and at work. I would eat my lunch at my desk and everyone who passed commented on what I was eating and whether or not it was healthy for me.

seriously??!! that is beyond ridiculous. you should have not her, "yes, he/she will. i'm training him/her to beahave as we speak."

some people just dont know what they are saying....
my own mother tells me i am "selfish" for having a baby in the winter time because they will get sick more and you have to keep them inside more...like i should give up trying half a year so its not durring the cold weather???
