Why do they fall asleep in the car....
And then wake up as soon as you transition them to the crib?????
He's obviously tired - he passed out in under ten minutes in the car. The second I put him in the crib he's back to his old screeching self. LOL. AHHHHHHHH. Thank god I can lower the volume on the monitor!

I miss the inafant carrier. Then there was at least a shot of staying asleep.

I'm so bad at the transferring. Usually DH is successful at transferring but with it being winter no one's had any luck getting off her coat.

Re: Why do they fall asleep in the car....
On days when DS REALLY needs to sleep some more, I bring him in his room, and open the windows for awhile so he doesn't overheat in his coat. Taking off the coat wakes him every time. But he's still in an infant carrier, which helps.

Are you in my house? DS was fast asleep in the car, now he is up and screaming in his crib. MIL HAD to call as we were walking up the step to go to his room

Oh,,,if you unzip her coat while she is still sleeping in the car seat, pick her up so her head is on your shoulder, that way you just slide the arms out from the jacekt while she is still sleeping

I let her nap in her coat if I can get her from the carseat into the house without waking up! I just unzip it and she's good to go.

Re: Why do they fall asleep in the car....
UPDATE: DS never fell back to sleep. I fed him dinner and now will bring him up to bed. Wish me luck!
UPDATE 2: The good thing about no nap is that he will fall right to sleep! I took DS up to bed, he had his milk, pushed me away and reached for his crib
