WHy do you mix cereal into the veggies and fruits??
I see that alot of you say that you mix the veggies and fruit with cereal, why is that??
I give it to DS seperately he eats:
Breakfast: Cereal then about 1/2 jar of fruit
Lunch: Jar of Veggie & about 1/2 jar of fruit
Dinner: Jar of Veggie & about 1/2 jar of fruit

We did it to dilute the taste of things I was afraid he wouldn't like. Then gradually less and less cereal until it's all veg. It's just a way to slowly introduce new flavors/texture.

Just for taste... I've never mixed veggies with cereal but I have mixed fruit. For a while DD wouldn't eat them separately but now she will.

You're welcome! If you find there's something he doesn't like down the road it's a good way to trick him/introduce it to him and he may develop a taste for it. but sounds like you have a very happy eater!!

Yep so far he is a great eater, he definitely takes after his Daddy, he eats everything, not like me thank god, cause I am a picky eater.
Anyway I hear kids go thu all kinds of phases so a good eater can become a picky eater from time to time, but for now I enjoy that he eats everything I feed him

I'm glad you asked this bc I was wondering the same thing! We just started veggies a week or so ago, and we haven't been giving cereal with them, either!

I do it with fruit and cereal. I swirl in the fruit to make it a little more interesting. Not that he notices of course.

The Dr said there are nutrients in the cereal that are important for him to get...
